I reached out to PMJ appraisals , Paul responded very quickly and we scheduled a time and date to appraise my mom’s house . He came to the house asked questions, made  several notes , took measurements of the outside ( front & back ) , measurements of the inside from the basement to the top floor . He had the appraisal back to me in a timely matter and I feel with his knowledge and the appraisal paperwork helped me and my brothers greatly for the sale of the house . Paul did an appraisal for me on my property and was extremely easy to work with. I felt genuinely comfortable with how he explained the process and could instantly feel like I could trust him. He took time to explain the process in depth and answered all of my questions. The appraisal came back to me much quicker than I anticipated and the  price for his service is completely fair. I have been working with Paul McManus for over 10 years.  He is the most reliable and professional real estate appraiser that I have worked with in my 30 years in the mortgage business.  I have never had any issues with communication, scheduling, or most importantly, over-due appraisal reports. His valuations are always fair and I have never had any issues with pushbacks from investors which is a tell-tale sign of good appraisal reports.  Paul has done many home appraisals for friends, family, and past clients for reasons outside of mortgage loans including private pre-sale valuations, divorce situations, tax assessments, or whatever your reason may be.  On top of his professionalism, Paul is a genuinely a first class human being and I am proud to say that I also consider him a great friend.
